We have a large meeting room and smaller room available for hire. Chairs and tables are available. Both rooms have direct access to our garden. The larger room has a hearing loop, internet access and modern screen with connection and power for presentations or video meetings. Hirers must bring their own laptop if they wish to use this facility. We do not loan out laptop computers or provide technical support, but we are happy to answer general questions about all facilities at time of booking or in advance of your hire.
There is a modern kitchen and refreshment area in the smaller meeting room. The building has toilets, including a disabled access toilet.
The Meeting House is approximately 10 minutes walk from Ilkley train station (just under half a mile). We are in a peaceful mostly residential street with a good amount of roadside parking available.
We have had a wide range of hirers. The space is especially well suited to small groups for adult education day or evening classes, talks, meetings and music groups. Use must be appropriate to the nature of the building and our organisation, and must not cause disruption or inconvenience to our neighbours. For full details please see our hire agreement. We currently have various availability for daytime and evening sessions.
Many of our hirers run regular sessions and we are happy to consider favorable terms for regular bookings. We also have limited storage space available to regular hirers who may find it helpful to leave materials and equipment on site.
